RUMSTATIV AARHUS (SOPA NIGHT #2)
The second SOPA Night hit Aarhus on September 7th, 2007.
As part of the Rumstativ events on the harbour - going on
during the whole of the annual festival week.
We started out with poet and social satirist Tomas Dalgaard.
Then Agata & Me took the stage with their almost nursery
rhyme style songs. After that Plastic Society played the one
song they do and then invited Emir (of KURvE and Agata &
Me) and Andreas Hansn (of Singvogel) on stage to play a couple
of rocking Fallen Men songs.
Nils Gröndahl and Oliver Hoiness continued the evening
with their feedback noise and drum machine mayhem followed
by A.K. Hansn's first excursion into acid house territory
with The Empty House. A formula that worked surprisingly well.
The evening had a good crowd and they got a wide range of
treats. The next day organizers LJUD took over and Australians
Grey Daturas and Copenhageners (with Oliver Hoiness on stage
once more) Blob Back Fahrenheit played to great sets. Video
from the latter can be seen here.
Below you will find first a bunch of great black and white
photos shot by photographer Steffen "Jint" Jørgensen
(www.jint.dk)
and then a selection of live videos from the SOPA Night performances
(in chronological order). Scroll down on this page and enjoy!
